Hundreds Attend the Spring 2025 ePartners Career Connections

Hundreds of CS students attended the Spring 2025 ePartners Career Connections event on February 3, 2025 at the James B. Hunt Jr. Library. Students were able to meet and network with industry representatives and our ePartners had the opportunity to connect with the talent of tomorrow  – our CS students! This event was offered exclusively for the department’s ePartners and Super ePartners, just one of the advantages of being part of the CS ePartners Program.

Eight employers attended the event: Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina; Deutsche Bank - Technology, Data & Innovation; Fidelity Investments; Labcorp; NetApp; Parker Lord; Pendo io; and SAS Software and Analytics.

Events like these are beneficial to both students and companies. Employers get to meet with current students, scout for prospective talent and learn about the hands-on curriculum that’s being taught at the department. Students get a chance to network with industry professionals, get resume advice and learn about career paths they might be interested in.

Computer Science sophomore and president of Women in Computer Science (WiCS) Alexis Chan was just one of the nearly 400 students who attended the networking event.

“I chose to go to the ePartners Career Connections event even though I had already secured an internship because it was an incredible opportunity to think about my future career, practice networking and learn more about our incredible ePartners,” said Chan. “One of the highlights was reconnecting with Chasity Holt, a recruiter from Fidelity whom I met during their FidHacks hackathon last summer. It was wonderful to speak with her again, gain insights into my upcoming internship program with Fidelity and explore future opportunities within the company. She also provided valuable feedback on my resume, which I greatly appreciated. Although I walked in without any expectations, I left feeling so much more confident, empowered and excited for my internship with Fidelity and the career opportunities ahead!”
