Fall 2006 Diploma Ceremony Set for December 20

 The NC State Department of Computer Science will hold its fall diploma ceremony on Wednesday, December 20th at 1:30 pm in beautiful Meymandi Concert Hall at the Progress Energy Center for Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh (directions).
 
Steve Worth, Technical Director, SPO Global Engineering with EMC Corporation, will provide the keynote address. Worth received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from NC State in 1981 and his M.S. degree in Computer Studies in 1985.  He served as an adjunct faculty member with the Computer Science department from 1987-1999. As one of EMC’s highest ranking local executives, Worth is a strong supporter of our department, frequently serving as guest speaker for student organizations, leadership classes, and other department functions. He is currently the chair of the department’s Strategic Advisory Board.

Over 100 graduates are expected to receive their degrees during the ceremony.
