What I plan to do after graduation: This summer I'm working with developing legal AI at LexisNexis and have worked on AI/ML research during my time here and have become fascinated with health AI. After graduation, I hope to pursue a full-time position developing healthcare AI.

Why I Love Computer Science: When I arrived at NC State, I was set on blending my interests in business, biology, and computer science, but I was uncertain what field would be best for me. It was the hands-on experiences in cybersecurity and machine learning research here that truly ignited my passion for computer science, but also what made NC State special was the ability to pursue all of my interests. My journey was shaped significantly by volunteering with Girls Who Code in high school and its sister organization Women in Computer Science in college, where I realized the power of technology to empower and connect communities. This blend of technical challenge and community impact drew me deeper into the field. Now, deeply involved in computer science research and campus initiatives, I find myself continuously inspired by the creative and problem-solving nature of the field, convinced that this is the path where I can make the most meaningful impact.
