Matt Hambrick, Sr Director of ONTAP Core Software

NetApp

Matt Hambrick has been with NetApp for 16 years. He is currently Sr Director of ONTAP Core Software with responsibilities including: kernel infrastructure, security features, and SAN engineering. His worldwide team develops features to help customers manage their data in private data centers, in the cloud, and seamlessly move the data back and forth.

Prior to this current role, Matt spent 10 years leading different performance engineering teams for NetApp. Combining measurement, data, visualization, and feature development to solve critical customer pain points across many different workloads.

Matt earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from NC State. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and running.
