Post Doc
The Computer Science department at North Carolina State University (NCSU) invites applications for a postdoc. The position will exist within the Secure Software Supply Chain Center (S3C2) that is part of the Secure Computing Institute (SCI) led by Drs. Laurie Williams and William Enck. S3C2 is a large-scale multi-institutional research enterprise and community responding to the rise in software supply chain attacks in the software industry (as emphasized in Section 4 of Executive Order 14028). S3C2 is an international leader in software supply chain security and an essential community catalyst for secure development methods, tools, and metrics that are adopted by practitioners and that re-establish trust in the software supply chain; and educates a diverse workforce of technical leaders and practitioners. S3C2 includes NCSU faculty and collaborators at Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Maryland, and Paderborn University (in Germany).
The postdoc will perform the following Duties:
- Conduct research in the area of secure software supply chain security
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate students conducting research.
- Lead and participate in public engagement and outreach activities.
- Coordination of and participation in quarterly center meetings
