Like so many other spring events, the year end pig pickin' was canceled due to the COVID-19 crisis, however voting on the faculty and staff superlatives still took place! An Extraordinary Pathway to Success

After graduation, Goodnight Scholars Christian Williams and Oscar Molina (CSC Student Ambassador) are heading in different directions: vet school at the College of Veterinary Medicine and a role at Deutsche Bank. Both of these next steps were made possible through the Goodnight Scholars Program’s transfer pathway, created in 2017 to provide extraordinary opportunities for community college graduates across North Carolina. more


Celebrating the Spring 2020 Academic Success

Graduation that didn't happen!A lot has changed this year, but the one thing that has not changed is the caliber of our students and the outstanding accomplishments of this group. On May 7, the Computer Science Department held a virtual “Spring 2020 Celebration of Academic Success” to recognize our 2019-2020 students and celebrate the many fellowships, honors and awards they had won. During our video celebration, six PhD candidates, 165 Master’s Degrees students and 166 candidates for the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science were recognized. Dozens more were recognized for receiving Best Paper Awards at prestigious conferences, College of Engineering Merit Awards, Fellowships, Leadership Awards, Outstanding Senior Awards and more. more


NC State Update on Summer and Fall Planning

In his latest message, Chancellor Woodson shares more about how NC State is working to reactivate certain campus operations and planning to safely bring people back to campus throughout the summer and into the fall. NC State aims to have preliminary planning documents drafted by June 1, and in coordination with the UNC System, to have a final, approved fall plan by early July. Please watch the video to hear more about fall plans from Chancellor Woodson, and continue to pay close attention to the COVID-19 website for additional updates and details.

If you are a CSC student or recent graduate (within 12 months post-graduation) and would like to receive email notifications when new jobs are posted on ePack matching your profile, you can set up your own customized job search agent to receive just the postings you desire (intern vs. full time, etc). For a short video tutorial on how to create your own personalized job agent, click here.

The Alumni Association has partnered with the University Career Development Center to make ePACK available to NC State alumni. If you are a current Alumni Association member, update your online profile by visiting the Wolfpack Connect (alumni directory) and click on the ‘Update My Info’ tab on the upper right side of the page. Select the ‘Career Connections’ tab and then choose ‘yes’ beside the question, ‘Do you want access to ePACK?’

To access ePACK you must be a member of the Alumni Association and you must be an alumnus/alumnae of NC State. If you are not a member of the Alumni Association, you can join online. Once you have received an email confirming your membership, you will be able to register for access to ePACK.
