DESCRIPTION:Each year\, our incredible alumni\, faculty\, staff\, students\, ePartners and the broader computer science community come together to make an impact during Day of Giving. NC State Day of Giving is a 24-hour fundraising event celebrated university-wide. It’s also a chance to strengthen our department in critical areas. Last year’s Day of Giving supporters: \n🎤 sent students to present at high-profile conferences and events\n provided the money to attract and hire top-tier teaching and research talent\n supported numerous student groups\, including the CS Student Ambassadors and Women in Computer Science \nFor nearly 60 years\, NC State’s Department of Computer Science has worked to advance the citizens of North Carolina\, the nation and the world through excellence in computing education and research. \nOur department doesn’t just focus on the now; we’re interested in what’s next. We’re recruiting top-tier research and teaching talent. We’re helping our students enter the workforce in a time of change\, collaboration and growth.
