CSC Year End Pig Pickin' Planned for April 29 at MRC
Computer science students, faculty, staff, friends and families are invited to attend the 2011 ACM/AITP Computer Science Year-end Pig Pickin’ on Friday, April 29th from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Monteith Research Center (MRC) (NOTE: New location! Not the EB2 Breezeway!).
The Pig Pickin’ is an annual tradition within the department, providing everyone a chance to unwind and celebrate the conclusion of another successful academic year.
All food, drinks, and fun are FREE and open to all computer science students, faculty, staff, family and friends! There will be pork barbecue, fried chicken, and all the fixin’s provided by Cooper’s BBQ. A vegetarian spread will also be provided by Neomonde. Save room for dessert -- plenty of NC State’s premium Howling Cow ice cream!
Wonderful PRIZES will be raffled off including two Flips and more! Raffle tickets will cost $5 per ticket with proceeds going to support future ACM/AITP activities. And if that weren’t enough…
Awards! The departmental awards YOU voted for will be presented to their deserving recipients!
Footballs and lots of other sports equipment will be available to help work off a full belly!
Introductions of our new ACM/AITP leaders will also take place during the event!
