Student Papers Accepted to International Conferences
Congratulations to several NC State Computer Science students on having their papers accepted to upcoming premier international research conferences.
“S-preconditioner for Multi-fold Data Reduction with Guaranteed User-controlled Accuracy”, a paper written by Ye Jin, Sriram Lakshminarasimhan, Neil Shah, and Zhenhuan Gong, has been accepted to ICDM 2011 IEEE International Conference on Data Mining, the premier research conference in data mining. The conference is to be held this year in Vancouver, Canada, on December 11-14. (Jin and Lakshminarasimhan share the first co-authorship on this paper.)
“ISABELA-QA: Query-driven Data Analytics over ISABELA-compressed Extreme-Scale Scientific Data”, a paper written by Sriram Lakshminarasimhan, John Jenkins, Isha Arkatkar, and Zhenhuan Gong, has been accepted to the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis (SC11), the premier conference on high performance computing. The conference is to be held this year in Seattle, Washington, on November 12-18. (Jenkins and Lakshminarasimhan share the first co-authorship on this paper.)
