Student Paper Accepted to ICDE 2012
Congratulations to three NC State Computer Science students for having their paper accepted to the 28th IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE 2012).
“ISOBAR Pre-conditioner for Effective and High Throughput Lossless Data Compression”, written by PhD students Eric Schendel, Ye Jin and undergraduate Neil Shah, was accepted to ICDE 2012, the premier research conference in data engineering. The conference will be held in Washington, DC, on April 1-5, 2012.
The annual IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering addresses research issues in designing, building, managing and evaluating advanced data-intensive systems and applications. It is a leading forum for researchers, practitioners, developers, and users to explore cutting-edge ideas and to exchange techniques, tools and experiences.
The students are advised by Dr. Nagiza Samatova.
