Spring 2005 Posters and Pies set for May 6

Posters & Pies, the semester-ending showcase of student accomplishments in the Senior Design Project class, has been scheduled for Friday, May 6, 2005 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm at the Talley Student Center on North Carolina State University's main campus in Raleigh.

Current and prospective students and others interested in seeing what computer science students learn in the course of their studies -- and to see the range of projects in which they can apply their skills -- are encouraged to attend. Companies interested in sponsoring future projects are also welcome to attend. Those interested in attending please fill out our online RSVP form.

The event begins with student team presentations in the Stewart Theatre. Refreshments, demonstrations, and poster displays will immediately follow the presentations in the adjoining ballroom.

Students in this capstone class work on real-world projects provided by sponsor companies. Faculty and staff in the Senior Design Center provide support in the development of teaming, communications and presentation skills.
