Tri-XML 2005 Conference: Special Opportunity for Students

The Tri-XML 2005 Conference, the official conference for Triangle area XML users, will be held July 28-30, 2005, at North Carolina State University McKimmon Center.

This conference is geared toward users of XML and XML-related technologies. Speakers present on a wide range of topics, from beginning concepts to cutting-edge technologies.

Conference Theme: XML in Practice: Hit the Ground Running

Conference Dates: July 28-30, 2005

Conference Location: McKimmon Center, North Carolina State University

Registration Fee: $199 for the three-day conference. A limited number of students who submit posters may attend for $89/student (minimum criteria, ask for details from Kay Ethier, kethier@travelthepath.com).

Students entering posters have a reduced conference rate of $89, but free registration is being provided to two NCSU students whose posters are selected. A special meeting on "Preparing Conference Posters for a Poster Session" is being held on May 12, see http://www.trixml.org/futuremeetings.shtml. Bring your ideas and turn them into displays for the Tri-XML 2005 Conference.

Past conference attendees from NCSU have included XML educators and developers from the NCSU Libraries and the College of Engineering.

Tri-XML is the XML interest group for the Research Triangle area. It focuses on educating members in XML-related technologies and potential uses. Come take advantage of this learning and networking opportunity available on our campus!
