2024 Day of Giving Set for March 20th
As proud graduates, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the NC State University Department of Computer Science (CSC), you understand the transformative impact the department has had on our lives and careers. Now, it’s our chance to give back and contribute to the ongoing success of the department.
Join us in celebrating and participating in the 2024 Annual Day of Giving on March 20th! This is a unique opportunity for all of us to come together and support the next generation of aspiring computer scientists.
Your contribution can make a significant difference in the following ways:
- Student Scholarships: Help alleviate financial burdens for deserving students, allowing them to focus on their studies and pursue innovative projects.
- Cutting-Edge Technology: Support the acquisition of the latest hardware and software, ensuring students have access to state-of-the-art resources for their studies, projects and research.
- Faculty Development: Enable the department to attract and retain top-notch faculty members who can inspire and guide students towards excellence.
- Research Opportunities: Foster a culture of innovation by providing funds for researchers, conferences, and collaborations that push the boundaries of computing.
- Facility Enhancements: Contribute to the improvement of learning spaces, laboratories, and collaborative areas to create an environment that encourages creativity and teamwork.
To make your donation on March 20th, simply visit the College of Engineering Day of Giving site and select Computer Science as your designated recipient. Once CSC receives 100 gifts, it will unlock a $10,000 challenge gift from alumnus Tony Brown (click www.HappyGuidetoaShortLife.com to read more about Tony and his many philanthropic interests). Keep tabs on the Engineering Leaderboard to see where we stand!
Every donation, regardless of size (even as little as $10), brings us one step closer to achieving our collective goal.
Let’s show our appreciation for the education and opportunities afforded to us because of our connection to the department. Together, we can empower the future of the computing here at NC State University.
Thank you for your generosity and continued support!
