Mueller & Rhyne Recognized as 2006 Senior Members by ACM

Dr. Frank Mueller, associate professor of computer science, and Theresa-Marie Rhyne, Director of the Center for Visualization & Analytics, have both been recognized by the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) as Senior Members for 2006.

The ACM has three distinct member grades to recognize professional accomplishments: Senior Member, Distinguished Engineer, Scientist, or Member, and Fellow.

Senior Member is a new member grade recognizing those ACM members with at least 10 years of professional experience and 5 years of continuous Professional Membership who have demonstrated performance that sets them apart from their peers.

Mueller and Rhyne are among an elite group of just 77 people, world-wide, to receive this honor.
