ARO Renews Sponsorship of Triangle Computer Science Distinguished Lecturer Series
Dr. Franc Brglez has been awarded $ 43,320 by the Army Research Office to fund his proposal titled “Triangle Computer Science Distinguished Lecturer Series Sponsor - Army Research Office.”
The award will run from September 1, 2007 through August 31, 2010.
Proposal Abstract - Since 1995, the Triangle Computer Science Distinguished Lecturer Series (TCSDLS) has been hosting influential university researchers and industry leaders from computer-related fields as speakers at the three universities within the Research Triangle Area. The lecturer series, sponsored by the Army Research Office (ARO), is organized and administered by the Computer Science departments at Duke University, NC State University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This proposal argues for continuation, for an additional 3 years, of this highly successful lecturer series.
