Rouskas an Invited Speaker at ONDM 2008
Dr. George Rouskas, professor of computer science at NC State University, served as a featured invited speaker at the 12th International Conference on Optical Networking Design and Modeling (ONDM 2008) held in Barcelona, Spain, on March 12-14, 2008.
Rouskas delivered an invited talk at the ONDM on: "Net SILOs: An Architecture to Enable Software Defined Optics" and he participated in a panel discussion entitled "Is Optical Multilayer Networking Feasible?".
The ONDM is a major European conference focusing on the area of optical networking. The main conference topics span all relevant areas in optical networking and communications. The ONDM conference also serves as a meeting point for industry practitioners and academic researchers to come together to spread and update their knowledge.
