Graves Selected as Inaugural Winner of New Progress Energy Scholarship
Congratulations to incoming freshman Kathleen Graves, who have been selected as the inaugural recipient of a new diversity scholarship donated by Progress Energy.
The scholarship, designed to help increase the attraction and retention rates of underrepresented students in the field of computer science, is valued at $2,500/year and is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study given the student maintains satisfactory academic progress. The award also includes an opportunity to intern at Progress Energy.
