32 student teams showcased their projects at the event, held at NC State’s McKimmon Center. Sponsors, faculty, family and friends had the opportunity to meet with the student teams one-on-one to discuss their work. This year’s projects ran the gamut from finance to agriculture, tech, health and more, showcasing the wide variety of industries a computer science graduate can work in.

“Senior Design was a great chance to apply everything I’ve been learning,” said Chip Thrasher, a Fall 2025 graduate who worked on the MyDigital HandProject. “I feel like my communication has improved by two times. And I really enjoyed getting to work on tools that benefit my fellow students and TAs!”

For over three decades, the SDC has brought student teams and corporate sponsors together to work on real-world problems, with a goal of creating viable products, services and solutions. This is one of the department’s strongest programs, helping develop and differentiate graduates as they enter the industry in a time of change, collaboration and growth. More on the SDC.
