The ePartners Program provides a framework for developing and nurturing meaningful collaborative relationships between the global business community and NC State's Department of Computer Science.


Its primary focus is to foster ongoing communication and interaction between students, faculty and our corporate partners, to help shape the department’s future. Funding and support generated by the program, and administered through the NC State Engineering Foundation, allow our department to continue to grow in emerging areas of computer science technology while providing the highest quality education for our students.

In recognition of their generous support, our ePartners have access to an extensive portfolio of engagement and interaction options across several membership levels, all designed to meet their specific needs and interests.

Annual qualifying contributions start at just $2,500, based on company size.

What is the ePartners Program?

The ePartners Program connects the global business community with the NC State Department of Computer Science through the NC State Engineering Foundation. This program fosters strong, collaborative relationships focused on shared goals and mutual success.

What is the significance of the term “ePartners”?

What are the major differences between an ePartner and a Super ePartner?

Super ePartners receive all the benefits of ePartners plus exclusive opportunities for greater involvement in the department’s activities and strategic direction. This includes enhanced exposure and structured interactions with students and faculty.

Membership Requirements

  • Annual contribution of $25,000 or more
    • $15,000 is typically unrestricted, supporting mission-critical events, programs, student organizations and initiatives.
    • $10,000 can be directed to partnership opportunities of the company’s choice, including:
      • Sponsorship of Senior Design Center projects
      • Practicums and scholarships
      • Major events and faculty awards
      • Special programs and initiatives

Exclusive Advantages

  • Priority access to high-demand, limited-access engagement opportunities
  • Eligibility for representation on the department’s Strategic Advisory Board
  • Increased visibility and deeper involvement in shaping the department’s future

Can Other Types of Support Count Toward ePartners Recognition?

Absolutely. We recognize that many of our strongest partners support the department through scholarships, equipment gifts, project sponsorships and more.

The value of major financial gifts or gifts-in-kind can be considered when determining an appropriate unrestricted gift contribution for recognition at the ePartners or Super ePartners level.
