Computer Science Research Day Spring 2026

March 4 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Event Series (See All)
A person with light skin and dark hair, wearing glasses, stands at the front of a classroom, gesturing with their right hand as they speak to an audience of four people. They are wearing a light blue jacket over a light green shirt, and dark pants. Behind them is a red wall with black hexagonal patterns and the words "Computer Science" in white text at the top. To their right, a dark wooden podium has "NC STATE UNIVERSITY Computer Science" written on it. The audience members are seated at tables, with the backs of their heads visible. The person on the far left has blonde hair, and the person in the middle has gray hair and is wearing a dark suit jacket. The two people on the right have dark hair and are wearing light-colored shirts.

The Department of Computer Science will host a Research Day for industry leaders on Wednesday, March 4 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in EB2. This event will feature short research presentations from faculty members, followed by a networking lunch and a graduate student poster session in the afternoon.

Research presentation topics include:

  • Software modernization
  • Robotics and cyber-physical systems
  • Optimization for logistics and artificial intelligence/machine learning
  • And more!

This is a great opportunity to learn more about our faculty’s research, and to network with faculty and industry professionals.
