Krish will explore the transformative impact of leveraging AI to boost productivity, streamline workflows, and propel innovation in engineering domains.  He will cover how the benefits that NetApp has seen by using AI and how they are structured to take maximum advantage as the technology continues its rapid evolution.

Speaker Bio

Krish is a passionate product leader and engineer with a strong track record of building compelling multiyear strategies for large platform and product teams, delivering significant impact for global enterprises and billions of consumers.

He currently serves as Senior Vice President for Core Platforms at NetApp. In this role, he leads the Core Platforms team, which is responsible for the unified storage platform, manageability platform, Customer Experience Office (CXO), and Chief Design Office (CDO). His team enables the delivery of NetApp offerings across on-premises, hybrid cloud, and data services environments.

Prior to joining NetApp, Krish spent more than six years at Google in multiple roles, including leading product for Android and Play’s Trust and Safety, as well as for Google Maps. Before Google, he had a long tenure at Microsoft, where he led product teams for O365 Foundations, Outlook.com, and the Microsoft Consumer Trust and Safety group.

Earlier in his career, Krish worked at a couple of startups—LoudCloud, founded by Ben Horowitz and Marc Andreessen, and Brience, which enabled enterprises to customize mobile customer experiences.

Krish holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a master’s degree in Information Systems Engineering from Arizona State University. He is also a proven innovator and hacker, with more than 30 patents primarily in distributed systems, spam detection models, and graph-based anomaly detection.

Krish resides in the Bay Area with his wife, son, and daughter. Both of his children play water polo for Saratoga High School. In his free time, he is a recreational poker player who competes in World Series of Poker events, as well as a blitz chess enthusiast. He and his family enjoy traveling and are working their way back to their pre-COVID goal of visiting two new countries each year.
