Laura Rodgers is the Director of Cybersecurity Practice in the Secure Computing Institute and Director of NC-PaCE (North Carolina Partnership for Cybersecurity Excellence) at NC State University. Her work focuses on advancing applied cybersecurity education, workforce development, and collaboration between academia, government, and industry.
In her role with the Secure Computing Institute, Rodgers helps lead initiatives that translate cybersecurity research into practice, develop professional training programs, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. As Director of NC-PaCE, she oversees a statewide partnership designed to strengthen North Carolina’s cybersecurity posture through education, research, and public engagement.
Rodgers brings extensive experience in cybersecurity operations, policy, and training, with a career spanning higher education and national defense contexts. She is a key contributor to NC State’s strategic efforts to grow cybersecurity capacity and develop talent pipelines that meet critical workforce needs.
