Research Day 2026
The Department of Computer Science hosted the second annual Research Day on March 4, 2026. Corporate and industry leaders, many of them ePartners, joined CS faculty and leadership for a day of learning, networking and collaboration.

The following faculty members presented their research:
- Kathryn Stolee: Software product management
- Qiao (Georgie) Jin: Extended reality for learning (computer assisted learning)
- Tim Menzies: LLMs, a cautionary tale
- Dongkuan (DK) Xu: Generative intelligent computing
- Yuchen Liu: Networks and cyber-physical systems
- Ruozhou Yu: Networking, computer systems and AI/ML
- Sandeep Kuttal: Software engineering
- Marcelo D’Amorim: Software testing and analysis
- Yuan Liu: Quantum computing (algorithms, systems, software and networking)

New this year was the graduate student poster showcase. CS graduate students had the opportunity to show off their research to faculty as well as industry members.
